hi Mark,

thanks a lot for your suggestions. I did try both, but they didn't work. But i got the images to show up in their right size using FIJI lifeline version. I think there is some sort of glitch with the most recent version of FIJI and Windows 7, or at least on the PCs that I have tried to open these images in.

I will try and report it in the bug reporting site. Thanks again for your advice.

Are both versions of Fiji up to date? You should certainly run Help>Update
Fiji on both installs and see if the problem persists.

If it still opens incorrectly, please submit a bug report and upload your
dataset using the guidelines on the Fiji wiki:
http://fiji.sc/Bug_reporting_best_practices

You can also run Edit>Options>ImageJ2 and toggle the SCIFIO option to see
if that changes how your images open. Please submit the bug report even if
that fixes your problem, as this is just a short-term workaround.
