Dear ImageJ users,

I am seeking for your advice about the best strategy to release a macro that we developed using FIJI.

We are about to submit a scientific paper describing the macro and its scientific use, and wonder how to best make the macro available:
1.       via the supplementary material section of the paper, providing the macro code, or
2.       upload the macro to an ImageJ webpage where the people upload their macros and indicate the link on the paper.

I favor the second option. Could you advice me suitable websites to make my macro available? I have found some imageJ websites where one can upload macros (http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=macro:start or http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/macros/ ), but I have not found any equivalent for FIJI. I know Fiji is just ImageJ, but aim afraid if I make the macro available on an ImageJ platform, I need to indicate all the extra plugins that the users need to download to run the macro in ImageJ. Or can I just indicate they should download and use FIJI?

Thank you very much in advance for your feedback,
Anna
