This bug is fixed in the latest ImageJ daily build (1.49m6) but the maximize button no longer restores a maximized window to its original size. To do this, you need to press “4” (Image>Zoom>Original Size) or reduce the size in steps by repeatadly pressing “1” (Image>Zoom>Out).
