This is not normal. Are either or both of the options in Edit>Options>ImageJ2 checked? If so, uncheck them. If that does not fix the problem, use the Help>Report a Bug command command to submit a bug report. Attach a zip-compressed image sequence to the bug report that the Fiji developers can use to reproduce the problem.
