Installing macros in Fiji

says
" In addition, any macro file placed in ImageJ/plugins with an .ijm extension will be installed in the Plugins▷ menu like any other plugin (before version 1.41 only files with an underscore in the name would be listed)."

This works fine in ImageJ (1.47v).  I have a macro called GSETomo.ijm that I installed in the ImageJ plugins folder. It shows up in the Plugins menu.

However, when I do the same thing with Fiji it does not work: I put the file in Fiji.app/plugins but it does not show up in the Plugins menu.  

Should it work?  Do I have to put my macro in the Macros/StartupMacros.ijm file for it to be seen on restart?
