Overlay Stroke Color does not change

Hi All,
I am trying to get a multicolor overlay using the macro code :

width=10;
color=("green");
run("Add Selection...", "width="+width+" stroke="+color);

  The width can be changed but the color is always red.
I am not able neither to get transparency using : color=("#77990000")
for exemple
I found the code in a macro from
http://rsbweb.nih.gov/ij/macros/Merz_grid.txt.
I am using imageJ 1.49m2.

Any Idea ?
