Hi Dr. Hesham,

I asked the same question a month ago and i got the advice of using color deconvolution plugin followed by thresholding of brown image to determine area fraction of brown color. It is an easy method, however, in order to succeed the quality of images should be high, illumination well balanced & background should be neutral.
