How to draw a segmented line of equal length

I need to do figure out persistence length of few virus sample. To do so, I already extracting data from picture files using segmented line tool. However, I didn't make sure that each segmented lines was of same length. How can I do so?

Is there an automatic way to trace and extract x and y co-ordinates.
