Finding Maxima at various points on an image

Hello,

My name is Ama and I am currently working with ImageJ. This is my first time working with the program and I just learned about it this week. I am able to understand the java script language but my lack of most of the "keywords" to use during coding has brought me to a halt. I am trying to find the highest maxima of a stacked image in each frame based on its Kymography. Can anyone help me?
