signal spread in total area

if i wish to count the particles in a cell and find out the area spread of the particle in total area .for example percentage area cover of certain particles in total area of a cell. is their any plugin for this feature,. can anyone help me in this. i wis to use a plugin similar to compaction profiler in icy. does fii has plugin for compaction profiler?
