Quantile based normalization null pointer exception

Hi guys,

I am using Fiji now, and I am trying to run quantile based normalization on some of my images. My images are 8 bit gray scale SEM images. I am trying to do some thresholding work on them, but I found some of them are too dark and some are too bright. So I found this plugin (quantile based normalization) really fits my request.

However, everytime I use it, it says Exception. NullPointerException. Has anyone of you experience the same thing? Could you give me some advice? Thanks a lot.
