Bio-Formats Importer unrecognized

Hi I'm new to imagej and miji.. I'm working on images in .jp2 format which can be read using bio-Formats importer.. I recorded the steps involved in opening images using bio-format and processing the imported image using macro recorder and created a macro.. when I try to run this macro from matlab via mij I keep getting this error "Bio-Formats Importer unrecognized".. I'm stuck at this point.. I would like to know how I might resolve this issue ... thanks
