NDPI file - image scale

Hi all,

I would very much appreciate your help on this. I am new to ImageJ and my overall knowledge of microscopes is limited.

I have some NDPI histology slides. I am opening them through the 'NDPITools' Plug in. I have also created some x40 images from the 'extract to mosaic' function. I would like to add a scale bar to some of these images.
How do I go about doing this? I do not have a reference slide. On the 'Preview NDPI' image I get the following readings on top: 1.58x1.58cm (272x272). Can I use this to create a scale bar? Do I need more information.
