The problem is fixed: I downloaded a fresh ij.jar file and everything's working fine again.
Still strange ...

Hello list,

for some reason all my ImageJ installations (Win7, IJ 1.50h) refuse to open any of the sample images ("Error loading image"). Also, "Udate ImageJ" fails by throwing the following message: "The 'News' page on the ImageJ website is not in the expected format or was not found."

Did anyone else observe this behavior and how could it possibly be fixed?
