thesholding problem - not binary code

Hi everybody,

I have a problem, but I don't know if I have to use threshold or mask or anything else in my images: I wanna consider only voxels with a certain level of signal (yes, like threshold), but then I dont' want my image to be converted in a binary one. I want the relevant voxels to remain with their values. And I need to use them and make other processes on them.

Any idea please?
