Dear Miriam,
Quicktime only works in 32 bit, you use 54 bit. Have a look at:
https://imagej.net/QuickTime. Try to use FFMPEG.
Good luck

Subject: Exception message while opening MP4 file with QuickTime
Hello all,
I want to access to my MP4 file using ImageJ, I already installed the plugins for QuickTime and QuickTime for Java, now it allows me to import the file using File/Import/Using QuickTime but then a message box appears in the QT Movie Opener with two options:
Convert to 8-bit grayscale
Reduces memory required by factor of 4
Use Virtual Stack
After selecting one or any of these options I get an Exception window with
this:
ImageJ 1.51j8; Java 1.8.0_112 [64-bit]; Windows 10 10.0; 12MB of 6049MB
(<1%)

I don't really understand what it means, I am stuck figuring out why this is happening, any comment would be very appreciated.
Thanks.
Miriam
