for the time being and if you have the file paths as strings, you may
use this ImageJ-macro to open such TIF-files:
fileName = "test_rgb2_001.tif";
imagePath = "dirPath/"+fileName;
run("Bio-Formats Importer", "open="+imagePath+" color_mode=Default
view=Hyperstack stack_order=XYCZT"); // watch for line break
run("Stack to RGB");
selectWindow(fileName);
close();
