Thanks for the suggestions! I will try them.
I used to work at a DOE lab in Pittsburgh. I was using a copper-vapor laser for flow viz, and I recall that you were also. CuV lasers were a headache. Now we can use LED's.

I always use ImageJ for all of my flow viz work! I used Erik Meijering's MTrackJ for the particle trajectories shown in my videos.
