You will find an archive of older ImageJ jar files here:
http://wsr.imagej.net/jars/
Just download the version you want, rename to ij.jar and put it in the ImageJ folder, replacing the existing ij.jar. You don't need to downgrade java.

Well, I'm using imageJ and I want to use a plugin which just works in the version 1.43. So, I want to know how I can downgrade to version 1.43, because in my ImageJ I can just downgrade to version 1.48.
