Wayne, that change in the status bar depends on where in the icon the mouse is. It seems to be mostly restricted near the point of the low leg of the right arrow. Otherwise it reverts back to just <<Drag and Drop>>. Yea I can just wiggle the mouse around to find it, but I would definitely qualify it as a bug. I am running ImageJ1.53i9 with Java 1.8.0_172 64bit on Windows 10 if that information is useful.
