color segmentation by area

Dear all,

I am doing simple morphometric analysis on muscle tissue (HE stained).
However, I try to make a color segmentation on the tissue according to the
area of the muscle fibers.
The goal is for the colors to symbolize area ranges of muscle fiber groups.
Can you help me with a plugin or paper?

I attach an example that illustrates the segmentation of colors according
to the area, but in the peripheral nerve (IHC)
