The problem seems to depend on the version of Mac OS/X. On my laptop, running 10.12.5, the OpenDialog box does NOT show the title. On a lab iMac, running 10.9.?, it does.
My workaround is to put the title in the Status bar. On a separate topic…can I configure my subscription to send a cc of my postings to myself (now, I’m trying to remember to do this manually). Hi Kenneth,
This link and the links therein will explain it better than I can but you're right that it's OS version issue. http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/Fiji-getDirectory-td5015559.html If you do the following your dialog title should show up again. Edit>Options>Input/Output...>Use JFileChooser to open/save Best, George On Fri, Jun 23, 2017 at 3:26 PM, Kenneth Sloan <[hidden email]> wrote: > The problem seems to depend on the version of Mac OS/X. Thank you! I will try this. The good news is that it's my customer who has
the OLDER version, so he doesn't really need it. Just checking / there's no harm in using JFileChooser in older versions - correct? Don't want to make the developer happy and upset the customer!
