to open concatenated stacks with 3D viewer

BOUE Elodie
Hello,

Could you please help me to solve the following issue:

I concatenated two stacks (corresponding to two 3D experiments at times t0 and t1) to make 4D images. How can I open this concatenation with 3D viewer in order to make a film out of it? The plugin seems to be able to open the hyperstack and to be able to display the time evolution of the system but the screen remains black.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Elodie Boué

Dear Elodie,

Check if you have the latest version of the 3D viewer then try this after concatenation:

Go to Image > Hyperstacks > Stacks to Hyperstack and fill out the proper number of Slices and Frames
Split the channels Image > Color > Split Channels (assuming you have more than 1 channel)
Load the channels one by one into the 3D viewer (Add > From image).

If you have more than 1 channel in the 3D viewer be aware that if you want to render the image not to select a single channel (a red box appears and only one channel can be rendered). Select outside the red box to render all channels.

Best wishes

Kees
