When I use the interactive "Threshold" tool under "Image -> Adjust.." the threshold changes in intervals of 17 or sometimes 18 (perhaps other) greylevels.
Where do these numbers come from? Can I enforce equal intervals and perhaps even set it to 10?
The image is a signed 16 bit Xray CT (3D image stored as tiff stack).
