Abdominal Fat MRI

Münzer Thomas GD-BUSP
I have analysed abdominal MRI images using NIH image for MAC some years ago. Now I try to do the same with Image J.

After setting an area of interest within the image using a the polygon selcetion tool , I want to threshold the image and then measure ONLY THE SELECTED area with the wand tool. However, even if I draw a line (using the draw command) the program measures all pixels within AND outside the selected area.

Is there a way around this problem? Or do I simply make it wrong?

Kind regards,

Thomas

You have to check "Limit to Threshold" in the Analyze>Set Measurements
menu.

DeltaVision files

In reply to this post by Münzer Thomas GD-BUSP
Dear All,
I would need some support from you, if possible.

We have a DeltaVision Restoration Imaging System and recently we have
updated it to the RT version.

Now the problem:
The Old DeltaVision generated files .r3d format.
The New DeltaVision generates files r3d.dv format.

ImageJ opens r3d.dv with 'DeltaVision opener' plugin, however my answer is:

is there a software (or plugin) which can convert r3d.dv to .r3d (and
viceversa)?
Possibly open source (i.e. free)...

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
