Are mobile games designed for short bursts of play becoming more popular?

I've noticed a lot more mobile games coming out lately that seem perfectly designed for quick, casual play, almost like they're meant to be picked up for five or ten minutes then put down again. Think simple puzzles, arcade games, or things where rounds are really short. It makes a lot of sense for busy people, but I'm curious if others have observed this trend too. Are mobile games specifically catering to short bursts of play becoming more popular than those requiring longer, dedicated sessions?

You've definitely hit on a significant trend in mobile gaming! I've also observed this shift, and it seems to be driven by how people naturally use their phones throughout the day. I was reading an interesting article https://blog.aaaenos.com/how-roulette-apps-fit-short-mobile-sessions/ that really dives into this topic, explaining how mobile gaming has changed; it doesn't need long, uninterrupted playing sessions anymore. The piece on how roulette apps fit short mobile sessions points out that many people just quickly open a gaming app when they're commuting or waiting. This kind of gaming is all about convenience, with a smooth roulette game download being a key factor to eliminate extra steps and get straight into playing.
