Hi ,
Good work you are doing with ImageJ. Congratulations are in order for
coming up with ImageJ.
I have questions I would like to ask you pertaining Biometric Fingerprint
ridges and birfucations.
1. How do you deal with noisy data e.g. fingerprint samples? I am planing
to use ImageJ to get cordinates of ridges and birfurcations of fingerprints
so that I can generate encryption keys.
2. Would the distances be the same for an endpoint and a branch every time
the fingerprint image is captured again?
I am currently in my research year of my Masters in Computer Systems and I
am determined to use ImageJ for my project in biometrics. I will appreciate
any feedback or direction you point me to where ImageJ has been used in
biometric fingerprint projects.
Regards,
Joseph Mwema
