I am performing a research project studying the structural composition of
intracellular drug crystals using polarized microscopy and am using ImageJ
to analyze the optical properties of the crystals. One thing that we are
attempting to do is measure only the skeleton of the objects present. We
have attempted to just measure using the ImageJ skeletonization function,
but that does not provide an accurate representation of what we need to
perform. Using a different image analysis software package Metamorph we
were able to transfer the regions of objects to the skeleton and were able
to perform the measurements. Is there a way to establish a region around an
object for measurement and transfer that to another image, allowing those
same regions to be analyzed?
Thank you
