Hi Mark,
usually vsi images are saved as a "vsi" files and a folder:
file: Image__01.vsi
folder: _Image__01_
In the past, some users changed the name of the "vsi" but they did not change the name of the folder.
This make the file unreadable by the vsiReader.
One should note that you have to follow the model, i.e. use of the underscore in the folder name.
If it doesn't help, may you send me the corresponding file and folder, for example through a zip archive in a dropbox.
Regards,
Romain

Objet : BIOP VSI reader error message
Hello everyone,
I am using the current version of Fiji along with the Action Bar Plugin
from J. Mutterer:
http://imagejdocu.tudor.lu/doku.php?id=plugin:utilities:action_bar:startand the .VSI reader provided by EPFL:
http://biop.epfl.ch/INFO_completed_projects.htmlI have successfully installed the reader and added the BIOP update site
to the Fiji updater, installed all updates.
The reader works as expected with the sample Dataset from BIOP. Good.
But, when I attempt to open VSI files produced locally, I receive the
following error message, "No series detected, defaulting to simple mode"
Upon clicking OK to acknowledge the message, the "Pick a Series" window
appears but with no options, clicking OK again closes that window and
the plugin appears dead at that point. The load and navigate features
return messages stating no image is open.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks to all,
