Dear All, maybe you can help me with a really worrying file-mystery.
I have several files from a Leica Confocal in lif format (which I know used to be ok). Yesterday (after I copied some of these files to another backup hard drive) I noticed that something weird happened in the original and copied files.
Although I can open these LIF files I have some completely black images within another apparently normal images. The Leica Reader and Image J can recognize these files as confocal, shows the sections of the Z-stacks and everything else. But the images are now completely black.
Any suggestion? I would love to recover my images but above all I am worried this might happen again.
