Im not sure if this is just me doing something wrong or if this is a bug in
the Measure function After adding several ROIs (anywhere from 20 to several hundred) to the ROI Manager, I measure them all. My measurement settings have the Display Label option checked. However, when the labels are displayed in the results window, only the filename and not the ROI name is displayed for several of the ROIs (e.g. What should read 11000x_Mosaic:o5m is only displayed as 11000x_Mosaic). I dont know why this only happens to some of the ROIs. This still happens to those same problematic ROIs even if I measure them one-by-one, and even if I directly use the Analyze>Measure or Ctrl+M directly, not from the ROI Manager. The only way Ive seen this corrected (sometimes) is by renaming the ROI and then measuring again. This is very tedious to do for hundreds of ROIs though. I am using the latest upgrade (v.1.37d). Has anybody also had this problem, or does anyone have any insight as to why this may be happening? I see no rhyme or reason for why some ROIs fail to display their name in the label, while others do ok. This is fixed in ImageJ 1.37e, available at
<http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/notes.html>. There was a bug that caused the ROI name to be lost when the ROI was edited by holding down the shift or alt key. -wayne On May 4, 2006, at 11:58 AM, roberto aranibar wrote: > Im not sure if this is just me doing something wrong or if this is a > bug in the Measure function > > > After adding several ROIs (anywhere from 20 to several hundred) to the > ROI Manager, I measure them all.
