Bug report: alt keyboard shortcut conflicts with system shortcuts

Hi

the Alt keyboard shortcut that allows one to make another selection
(and keep the previous one) doesn't seem to work on the GNOME
environment. Pressing Alt actually grabs the window that then can be
moved around. This makes it impossible to make such selections.

I couldn't find a bug tracker for ImageJ. Is there any? That would be handy.

This is a known issue and the work-around is to use Ctrl+Alt on Linux (or
any other X11-based environment) instead.

In addition,  to Johannes's reply (at least in KDE) you can change the
behaviour of the Modifier Key (to listen to either the Alt key or the Meta
key).

I do not  fully understand what the original problem was because here to add a
new ROI I need to press Shift, not  Alt.

Alt removes from a ROI, and both work fine here.

In KDE I have my modifier key set to "Meta" (the default was "Alt"). I guess
in Gnome there is such a setting available somewhere.

This way I can move the window around with the Win key.

Yes, you're right. The Alt is to deselect, Sift is to add. I never had
it working, only just heard about it on a conference and couldn't get
it to work. Shift works nicely. Thank you.

Multi-select options don't work in imageJ, right? For example, I could save ROI's index 0, 3, and 9 to a zip folder or perform an AND operation on 2 ROI's through the Macro language, correct?
