Can I convert ImageJ-captured tiff stacks for use in NIH Image?

MikeMc
I have some image stacks captured in ImageJ and I'd like to run them through some old in-house NIH Image macros that haven't been updated to ImageJ.  However, when I open the stacks in NIH Image (Mac Classic OS) they only show up as a single image (the first of the stack).  I've tried it on several computers (iMac, G4, G5), as well as in Image SXM on a Mac Pro, and they're all just the single image.  I've tried saving as various formats and with various tiff options, but no luck.  Is there a way I can convert these to appear as stacks in NIH Image?  I read in Appendix E in the NIH Image manual about what appear to be dedicated bytes for the tiff format, but I'm not sure if it's different in ImageJ or how to change them.  Anyway I have thousands of stacks to process so it would have to be a batch solution.
I searched the forum and did not see that this issue had been addressed.

thanks,

Mike
