On imagej "plugIn" menu choose PlugIn--->LOCI--->Bio Format Importer--->
And give path of your compressed Dicom file.

It is a plugIn from loci which handle compressed Dicom file.

thanks

Re: Compressed DICOM

Hi Tim,

To enable the Bio-Formats plugins, you must download loci_tools.jar from:

  http://www.loci.wisc.edu/ome/formats-download.html

Please be sure you are using the latest version, as we recently simplified
support for DICOMs compressed using lossless JPEG.

If the plugin fails to import your files, we would be most interested in
obtaining a sample non-working dataset from you, to debug the problem.

Please contact us at [hidden email] if it does not work for you.
If you need a place to upload non-working data, let us know and I will
provide you with our FTP server information.

HTH,
Curtis
