Concentration calculation

Dear All,

              I have to calculate the calcium conc. using the Grienkiwicz
equation, for a region of interest in FURA2 dual excited tiff images. how do
I go about using IMAGEJ. If anyone can provide a detailed explanation of the
equation as well as how to generate the values from the images it will be
very helpful  to me.

To calculate calcium concentration from FURA-2 images in ImageJ, first extract fluorescence intensities from your ROI at both excitation wavelengths (340/380 nm). After background subtraction, compute the ratio values and apply the Grynkiewicz equation step by step free calculator, similar to verifying calculations with a ti 84 calculator online free for accuracy.
