Control panel and macros

Simon Roussel
Dear ImageJ listers,
The very usefull "control panel" does not include the macro directory(not
the macro menu which is under plugins, but the directory which is under the
ImageJ main directory). That would enable to launch user macros very
conveniently.
Is there a way to include it in the control panel ?
Thanks

Simon

I have created another Macros directory under the plugins, and copied all the
macros there.
If you add a "_" to any macro name, it will be listed under Plugins/Macros.
I keep only the auto-loading macro in the /ImageJ/macros directory.

But then, you cannot arrange your macros in subdirectories (when you have
plenty of them).
Thanks anyway.

You could make more directories under 'plugins' and put them there.
The difference between a plugin or a macro is almost non-existent if you want
to run them from the menu or the control panel.
Do you need the plugins and macros in separate directories?

That could be convenient, but now I realize that this wont work if you have
macro sets within a single .txt file (which is sometimes usefull), or you
need to split the file.
I'll do with what is available, which is already quite nice, I must admit.
Thanks
