Crash on startup

Knecht, David
I have an older iBook (10.2.8, G3, 320mb RAM) that I am trying to run
ImageJ on.  When I try to start the program, it begins to start and
then quits.  The console gives an error message that says:
JavaApplicationStub can't open library: /usr/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib (No
such file or directory, errno =2)  Does anyone know what this means?
THanks- Dave

Hi David,

I'm guessing it is because you are running 10.2, and the Java
application launcher program (JavaApplicationStub) is designed for
10.3+. I found a post about this regarding another software package:

http://help.ravensoundsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155

In the thread they provide a link to another version of
JavaApplicationStub that may solve the problem.

Re: Crash on startup

Knecht, David
When I run from the ij.jar file, the program boots, but I get two
instances of IMageJ, one normal and one running   as ij.imagej. I
also determined that the latest Micro-Manager instance of ImageJ
works (there are some error messages on startup, but it is
functional).  Both versions of ImageJ have the javaapplicationstub
file in the package, but in some cases there is also a file called
javaapplicationstub-old.  Dave
