DICOM Overlays

How to read the overlay bitmap from the Dicom file? When I open a dicom file with a overlay, ImageJ is not showing the Overlay. When I open the same using other dicom tools, there are options to 'show overlay', which shows the overlay on top of the dicom image. Is there a way do show overlays in ImageJ? Are there any plug-ins available already?

Any help would be appreciated.
