Hi to everybody,
I am a little bit confused about my results from Image J and I would appreciate it if somebody can explain me some things.
I have to characterize some images (with a different particles concentration).
I need to know the distance distribution (Average distance of all) between particles and also the density distribution of the them.
I have already tried the following:
- In a threshold image (8bit)
- I have choose Find Maxima from Process in Menu and
- then I have run the Plugin called 'Radial Distribution Function'
Then from the table of results: if I choose distribution by R, there are no informations at all, there is the same Mean for all of the my images (samples)
If I choose distribution by RDF, actually there is a Histograme but I don not really understand what is the point of this. I mean is there really information about the average distance or density of my particles on these Histograme?
Well, this programme is new for me. It seems very interesting and I would be glad if somebody can help to go on.
