Do You Play Alone or With Friends?

Most of the time I only gamble when I'm hanging out with friends and watching sports together. We usually keep the stakes small and spend more time joking around than actually worrying about the results. I've noticed that when I play by myself, it's much easier to lose track of time. Does anyone else feel there's a big difference depending on whether you're alone or with other people?

Definitely. When I'm with friends, the conversation becomes the main part of the evening, and the bets are almost secondary. Playing alone feels completely different, so I don't do it very often anymore.
