Just a guess here, but I think it is being drawn correctly -
it is just 1 pixel wide which, at that resolution, doesn't
render on the screen (which is probably not able to display a
2000x2500 image with a 1:1 pixel correspondence). Go ahead
and "draw" the rectangle, then zoom in - you should find that
it drew the rectangle one pixel wide just fine.
If you want to make a box that is wider than 1 pixel - there
is a menu option to change the pixel width of lines, boxes,
etc.
