Dear Li,
If you have a recent version of ImageJ, then there is a channel
available for grey images, i.e. brightfield = grey.
Upgrade your version and try again. You should then see Red, Green, Blue
and Gray.
Kind regards,
Jacqui

Subject: overlay/merge images
Dear all,
I have two images in jpg format: one is taken by normal light/bright
field and the other is taken by green light/green filter. I want to
overlay the pictures together. When I check ImageJ using color-->merge
function, I can see 3 colors: Red, green, and blue. There is no normal
field/bright field choice for me. I wonder if it is possible to
merge/overlay two pictures, one of which is bright field picture and the
other is green.
Thank you so much in advance,
Li
