Eclipse -> fiji .jar / file system

Something funny happened to me this week. Until just a few days ago I
always exported my plugins as a .jar from eclipse right into my fiji
plugins folder. That suddenly stopped working -- though everything
works just fine if I export as a file system instead, and it sits in
the plugins as a folder rather than a .jar. Does anyone have a
diagnosis?

If you could make the project and an example .jar available, or
alternatively the exact error messages, I could more than likely help you.

Ciao,
