Last week we had the same problem. We simply upgraded the old way, by downloading the most recent build and putting it in the ImageJ directory.

The Edit>Options>Proxy Settings dialog in the ImageJ 1.45l13 daily build has a "Use system proxy settings" option that, when enabled, may prevent 407 (proxy authentication) errors when using the Help>Update ImageJ command. All this option does is set the "java.net.useSystemProxies" property to "true". -wayne |
