FW: updater--proxy

Richard Cole

Dear Group,

I am struggling to get the updater to work (both imageJ and Fiji), using the
proxy settings.  I get a 407 error even with the correct info entered into
the proxy dialog..

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: updater--proxy

Cammer, Michael
Last week we had the same problem.  We simply upgraded the old way, by downloading the most recent build and putting it in the ImageJ directory.

The Edit>Options>Proxy Settings dialog in the ImageJ 1.45l13 daily build has a "Use system proxy settings" option that, when enabled, may prevent 407 (proxy authentication) errors when using the Help>Update ImageJ command. All this option does is set the "java.net.useSystemProxies" property to "true".
