File > Save As > Image Sequence...

Hi Wayne,

I import an image sequence (not as virtual stack).
I make File > Save As > Image Sequence...
Format: TIFF
Use slice labels as file names: not checked
Name: shows the name of the image window
If I change that name and hit OK, the macro recorder shows the new name but
the saved files still have the old name

Best regards, Thomas

Dear Thomas,

for me (Mac) everything works as advertised.

Please note that the dialog suggests a directory (in fact a full path to
it) into which the stack slices will be saved. In other words, this
directory must exist. The stack slices are named according to the stack
name with appended numbers.

The recorder records the directory name.

This bug is fixed in the ImageJ 1.53f25 daily build. To upgrade, use the Help>Update ImageJ command and select “daily build” from the drop down menu.
