Hi All-
Does anyone know if there's a way to open a 64-bit RGB file so it's not reduced to 24-bit? I need all the bits since my signal is quite small. I'm running ImageJ 1.46r. Sarah,
I have no idea what 64 bit RGB images could mean. Are these images with four channels, e.g. RGB with an alpha channel, each channel of 16 bit? As far as I remember, the usual 48 bit RGB images can be imported to ImageJ as stack. More information on the image structure may help to diagnose the problem. Hi Sarah,

Which file format? TIFF? PNG? Something else? Did you try opening your file using the File > Import > Bio-Formats command (available as part of the Fiji distribution of ImageJ; http://fiji.sc/)? Do you get 4 separate 16-bit channels then? If not, please feel free to send a sample non-working file to us using Fiji's Help > Upload Sample Image command.
