GIFs not playing in Instagram

Curious if anyone knows how to make GIF files play in Instagram.


They play fine on Android tablets and phones, but uploaded to Instagram only the first frame is displayed.  Any ideas how to have them play as animated GIFs?

Hi Michael,

I did some quick research, and found some articles claiming that Instagram
does not support animated GIF. You have to convert to a movie format such
as MP4.
