Gel Analyzer not working

This trusty old tool appears to be malfunctioning.

After the 1st ROI is defined, subsequent ROIs do not take at their new
positions but revert to location of 1st ROI. All ROI numbers are incremented
properly. When Plot Lanes is executed all profiles represent that of lane #1.

This happens in Mac, ver 1.42q and Win, ver 1.42i.

Thanks for checking.

Does that happen in the latest version of ImageJ? 1.43d?

Gabriel

OK, Wayne got me straightened out!

If the selection is more than twice as wide as it is tall, ImageJ considers
that lanes are horizontal and only allows the selection to be moved
vertically.

Fixed by changing aspect ratio.

Thanks.
