How to convert volummetric MRI data (sagittal slices) into coronal slices

Rizwan Mumtaz
Hello,

For certain application, I have to examine an MRI corpus by creating
coronal slices from the available 26 sagittal slices of the corpus. Is
there a plugin or any other way I can do this? Any help or material will be
extremely appreciated.

Kind regards,
Rizwan

Hi,

yes.  You can re-slice the volume

Image > Stacks > Reslice [/]...

You may start at Top or Left, depending on how your images are oriented,
or you rotate them beforehand

Image > Transform > Rotate...

The effective resolution of the resulting coronal slices will be 26px
which sounds little to me but may just be what you want.

Alternatively, you can do arbitrary reslicing with my old Fiji plugin:

Our server is down at this moment, but you can use one of its mirrors

Best regards,
