How to save ImageJ plugin settings?

Hi everyone,
I am implementing an ImageJ plugin that needs to have few simple settings (e.g. server host
name and IP port). How should I save and load this settings? Does ImageJ provide some recommanded
methods to handle plugin settings/preferences/options?
